Toddler Educator and Co-educational leader 

Hi, I’m Ellie, an early childhood teacher living in Bangalow, where I have been fortunate to be part of the local community for the past four years. I have worked in early childhood education for five years and bring a strong passion for nature-based play and embedding Indigenous perspectives into my teaching. I love working with children because they are full of curiosity and wonder, and I love witnessing the moments when they light up as they share stories and make new discoveries. I love to learn from children and create alongside them. I believe children are highly capable and important members of our community and I believe it is my role as an educator to support their emerging identities as they navigate this world. At Federal I will be working in the Koala Room and taking on the role of Co-Educational Leader alongside Talia and Emma. Outside of work, I can be found surfing, painting and going to gigs, and will be starting art school this year. I am so looking forward to joining this beautiful centre!
