Kookaburra room ( 3-5 years of age)
This is for children aged 3-5 years of age. This is where children have the opportunity to really expand in their learning and take flight. The learning space includes a dedicated art and craft room, science area, home corner, puzzle and tabletop area, blocks and construction area and a large extensive outdoor area. Children’s sense of wonder is nurtured. We really aim to build the dispositions and attitudes to learning that will allow for a deep love of learning throughout life. These dispositions include curiosity, look closely at things, pro social skills, collaboration, creativity, imagination. wonder, respect, persistence and so much more.
In both the Koala and Kookaburra room children make lifelong friendships. Families have the opportunity to build connections within the community.
